Charming Vancouver Wedding

This next wedding captured by Juna Photography will make you want to put on your dancing shoes! And the florals? Just stunning. Peonies & white Phalaenopsis orchids are definitely my favorite.

Sanja & Liam were married on Canada Day, July 1st, 2010, at the Cecil Green Park House on the UBC Campus in Vancouver. Both Sanja and Liam are what you might describe as ‘learned’ individuals (high-achievers, academically speaking), but they are also blessed with an uncommon lust for life. After climbing Mount Kilimanjaro on their honeymoon, they found some time to hang with silver-back Gorillas in Uganda – not your average honeymoon! They were an absolute joy to photograph, so calm and elegant. And the dancing – wow. Just watching their languid Latin moves made me want to go and learn to salsa!

Sanja & Liam requested that I shoot their wedding partly with black and white film, something I don’t normally do but a challenge I was more than happy to take on. The results were incredible, way beyond my expectations. I’m so grateful that fate brought this talented and cultured couple my way.
