Country side Engagement from Andrea’s Impressions Photography
As a prairie girl, I love today’s rustic country inspired engagement session captured by Andrea’s Impressions Photography . Shot in the country side of Haldimand county, it’s complete with a vintage tractor, wheat field a barn just full of character.
How did you two meet?
Kyle and I met through my best friend Courtney and her husband Alan. Alan and Kyle work together, they are OPP officers. One day I came to pick Courtney up for lunch and Alan was home. He mentioned that there was someone at work he wanted to give my phone number to. I thought, what do I have to lose? Kyle called me and we set up a double-date with Courtney and Alan and after that it’s history.
The proposal was so romantic. We went out for dinner to Coppola’s where we had our first date. After a wonderful dinner Kyle said he wanted to go for a walk on Port Dalhousie pier (where we also went on our first date). It was a beautiful night to walk the pier, we’re strolling along and we reach the end of the pier and Kyle says “So this is where we had our first date…I’ve been thinking and I’ve talked to your parents and my parents, and I’ve never been more sure of anything in my life”. He gets down on one knee and asks me to marry him. I was in tears as soon as he started his speech. The pier has a special place in my heart as I used to go to Port Dalhousie with my grandparents as a kid and walk the pier.
Any hints about the upcoming wedding?
Kyle and I love antique shopping together. It has become our favourite hobby. So the wedding is going to be vintage, antique themed.
