Pike Catch
Kaycee Hyde, of Guys Mills, caught this 28 inch northern pike from the Allegheny River earlier this month. The fish bit on live bait. Many of the waters in NWPA are known to hold respectable pike. Presque Isle Bay, French Creek, and the Allegheny River are places where anglers can expect to find good numbers of northern pike. Inland lakes in our region also produce consistent catches of these fish. Some places to target pike include Lake Lebeouf, Eaton Reservoir, and Conneaut Lake.
