We finally have an official total gross score for all four bucks, I am relieved to tell you. I have already apologized profusely for keeping you waiting this long, so I won’t bother with any more of that. But eventually, for one of you at least, the wait will prove more than worth it when this new Mathews’ Z7 Xtreme shows up at your doorstep.

Now to the bucks. They are an interesting group in that three of the four just so happen to have perfectly even gross scores, and two have scores that are smaller—to my eye anyway—than their pictures suggests. One in particular (can you guess?) looks at least 10 inches bigger than it actually is and no one could be blamed for guessing 20 inches too high. So, without further preamble, the gross B&C scores are as follows:

Buck #1 , taken by Jerrod Hoff, measures 136 even.

Buck #2 , taken by Slade Fancher, goes 157 even.

Buck #3 , taken by John Albrecht, scores 166 even.

And Buck #4, taken by Jack Wallace, grosses 142 7/8

The total gross B&C score for all four is therefore 601 7/8, which means—you’re not going to believe it—we have a three-way tie. 1RutNBuc and Jrm0023 both guessed 601 5/8, and AlpoHunts11 guessed 602 1/8--all three only 2/8ths of an inch off. And that means they must duke in out over a tie-breaker buck. This buck:

Okay 1RutNBuc, Jrm0023, and AlpoHunts11, have at it. What is this buck’s gross B&C score? Only your first guess counts (unless it’s an obvious typo). You cannot both enter the same the score (if you do, the first one wins). And you must enter your guess before next Thursday, August 25th (sorry but due to popular demand we need to start putting end dates on these things). Sooner is better.
