New York Launches First Ever “Hotel Week”
Restaurant Week, Fashion Week, Fleet Week, Caribbean Week, Asia Week… New York even has a week dedicated to Cider . It’s surprising then that the Big Apple has yet to have a week dedicated to hotels.
That all changes between January 6-15, 2012, with the city’s first ever Hotel Week. New York Hotel Week is a collaborative project between businesses, hotels, attractions, and the city itself that hopes to give visitors a chance to experience the best the city has to offer on a budget.
Hotel rooms can be booked for as low as $100 per night, and even more luxurious properties can be reserved at a discounted $200-$250 per night. Just make sure you mention “Hotel Week” when booking.
Although the event comes during a particularly slow season in New York tourism, the discounted prices will hopefully draw more people to the area. Not only that, but these rooms also make a thoughtful yet affordable gift for the special people on your holiday list.
