Moraine Preservation Fund Presents : The 5th Annual Winterfest at Moraine State Park
The 5th Annual Winterfest at Moraine State Park is scheduled from 12 pm – 4 pm on Saturday, Jan. 17. Moraine State Park is located about an hour and a half south of Erie, PA. Visitor’s can reach Moraine State Park via Interstate 79. This 16,725 acre state park bordering Lake Arthur will host winter activities including ice carving, chainsaw carving, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, carriage rides, and an ice fishing demonstration. Winterfest at Moraine State Park will also feature live music and a chili cook off. There is a Family Birding Hike scheduled for 1pm at Winterfest. This program will be hosted by the Audubon Society of Western PA.
