Allegheny National Forest snowmobile trails open Dec. 21
The Allegheny National Forest snowmobile trail system is scheduled to open for public use Dec. 21.
The ANF staff reminders snowmobilers that many ANF trails are on joint-use roads, and users might encounter vehicles, groomers, snowshoers, and skiers. Travel carefully.
For trail conditions, call 814-723-5150 and select option 2, then option 1, then option 3. Once the
trail is open, conditions will be updated on Monday, Wednesday and Friday of each week.
Snowmobile trail maps are available online and at any of the three ANF offices.
