A Charming DIY Wedding in Ottawa
This wedding is definitely a breath of fresh air. It somehow reminds me that spring is just around the corner. A totally DIY wedding with lovely details including loads of crepe pompoms hung at the altar and individually wrapped around the reception napkins. Effortless chic! Big thanks to Studio 1948 for sending this lovely over.
Says Vicky (the bride):
The inspiration for our decor came from none other than Martha Stewart! I saw her tutorial for pom poms and knew I wanted them at my wedding! It took many hours and much help, but we managed to make over 200 pom poms which were used as napkin rings and general decor. I wanted our wedding to be romantic yet fun and I think the combination of light peach, pinks and purples along with unusual and quirky decor really pulled the two together.
