Edmonton Bridal Fantasy 2009
I just got back from the Bridal Fantasy show held at Northlands Agricom in Edmonton and I’m super excited to show you some of things I snapped pictures of along the way. I went with my super awesome bridesmaid Ashley and my wedding planner extraordinare Manda who happened to be working the event that day for her hotel. Needless to say, it was a fun time and I liked this fashion show better than the Bridal Convention show I attended many months ago. Plus, I’m pretty stoked I found a very stylish bridesmaid dress that Manda & Ashley liked. Surprisingly, it’s totally out of my color palette but I am willing to change it all because of the dress. My venue has changed also, so it’s all about being flexible. Stay tuned for pictures of the dress!!
A head table display from River City Event Rentals . It was my first time seeing a floral arrangement like the one in the pictures above. See below for a closer picture. It allows you to choose your favorite stems and all you have to do it hook them into the slots to create a long arrangement. This is a great alternative to large centerpieces that can cost a fortune.

A very fresh orange & light blue combination by Krave Catering . I spoke with the rep and she mentioned she finished the table runners the night before (she did a great job!). I would not have thought to add these two colors together and love how it turned out. She also said she rummaged some discount stores for the candles & stands, then spray painted them white to make the varied heighted centerpieces at the center of the table.

Deep purples were abundant throughout the show and this is just one example of how elaborate you can design your table. This was also from River City Event Rentals . The rinestone napkin rings were mirrored on the backs of the chaircovers.
I loved these sleek, cubed vases in black. Very chic.
