La la la la la la la
You know what I discovered? I am one impatient cookie! I decided that, after not really doing a scrap of exercise for a year, I would work and get myself back in shape. Crazy thing is that it’s actually fun, but I’m pretty sure that’s just cause I’m not used to it. Problem is that I get impatient and want to be able to everything FASTER. I’ve been running, all fine and dandy, but my friend is running a 1/2 marathon in 4 weeks, and now I’m mad that my body won’t whip itself into a frenzy and have the capacity to run 13 miles cause i want to run that race too! You ever hear that impatient cow joke? I am now the impatient cow!!
Went up to my parent’s new land this weekend, and it is really nice. They bought six acres outside of Grand Junction, a small town called Cedaredge. They have a little creek that runs through their property, and some horse stables from the previous owners. I’m psyched cause now my parents have horses in the future plans and I love horses! I also saw some type of bobcat or cougar when I was up there–pretty crazy, eh?I was climbing over the fenceinto the horse paddock thing, and I heard this big rustle next to me. I looked over just in time to see this cat thing running away, and at first, I thought it was just a house cat (why a house cat would be running through a horse paddock in the middle of nowhere, don’t ask) But then, I saw it running and it was like bounding and leaping–definitely not house cat-style. I saw it’s tail too and it kinda looked like a raccoon tail, so I think it was a little bobcat. Kinda cool eh?
