Beautiful Winery Wedding from Afterglow Images
The week is almost over and the inspiration just keeps on coming. Meet Mandi + Tammy, the beautiful wedding couple who were photographed by Afterglow Images . Their wedding was held at the Carriage House at the Vineland Estates Winery, a rustic, yet elegant location perfect for their intimate wedding. They let the venue speak for itself and it made for warm and absolutely heart-warming photos.
When we began the process of figuring out what and how we wanted our wedding to be, we were both on the exact same page. We wanted a small venue, and we knew we wanted an elegant and intimate evening. We decided on a winery because Niagara is known for it’s wines, and we would get a smaller venue. As soon as we stepped into the Carriage House at Vineland Estates Winery we both instantly knew the venue represented us! We loved the rustic stone walls and the elegance of having a sit down dinner. Our colour scheme was simple, we wanted it to be all whites and creams, lots of candals as to not take away from the wood and stone work in the venue. We ultimately wanted a very intimate and elegant evening keeping it simple with the creams, whites and candles.
What was your favorite moment from your wedding day?
I think the best part of our wedding was the intimacy, we knew everyone there. I don’t think we have a favourite moment the entire evening was exactly what we dreamed of.
Do you have any advice for other brides-to-be?
I think the only ‘advice’ we could give any bride-to-be is: The day goes by so quickly it’s like a whirl-wind, the best thing you can do for yourself is pause, take a step back and actually take it all in, look at what’s going on around you, the love in the room is so overwhelming – take in the entire venue. Really do that for yourself because in a blink of an eye the day is over!
