Vera Wang 2012 Fall – Black + Gothic
Good morning everyone and happy Monday! Hope you all had a great weekend. I can’t contain myself, so I’m going to add a quick personal update – the house is so close to completion and I should be moving in by mid-November . I’m soooo excited. Now I have to sell my downtown condo and we all know how hard real estate is.
Now wedding related wise, these past couple weeks have been absolute mayhem (in a good way) for the bridal industry because it’s New York Bridal Fashion Week, where designers flock to the runways to share their newest collections. I vow that next year I’ll try my best to get to New York because I should bring the excitement to you. I missed out on too much and a trip to NYC wouldn’t hurt either.
So over the course of the next week or two, I’ll throw in a couple lookbooks of my favorite runway collections and at the end, I’ll share my annual top trends for the 2012 Fall Bridal Market. And can you guess who I’ll start with? Of course, the talented Vera Wang who always pushes the envelope when it comes to bridal fashion. This year, Vera’s style was filled with a lot of black and almost gothic styles. A tweet from her official Twitter account said “Vera’s inspiration: Witchcraft! Light, airy, concoctions of froth. … Mysterious and sexy, frivolous and fun”.
Would you wear black?
