The groom’s mother threw a spectacular rehearsal dinner at the Top of the Hay Adams for the wedding party, family, and friends. “We had many wedding guests from out of town and wanted to provide them with a quintessential Washington, D.C. experience and we choose the Top of the Hay because of it’s one-of-a-kind view of the White House. We saw the president land in Marine One during cocktail hour. During dinner we watched as the White House lit up in rainbow colors to celebrate the Supreme Court’s historic ruling on same sex marriage earlier that day. It was truly surreal.”
