Bohemian Inspired Wedding Photoshoot in Alberta
Happy Friday! We’re capping off an amazing week with a shoot that involved 11 children. Yes, 11 children! Cute as can be, these little ones were part of a bohemian inspired photoshoot created by a group of talented Albertan vendors, held in a greenhouse. Enjoy!
All Unattended Children Will Be Given An Espresso
What happens when you take 11 children to a farm and put them into a greenhouse where there is a pen full of pigs, roosters and turkeys? Utter chaos! That’s what this shoot should be called. I named it after a cute sign they had at the farm because it felt like every child was on espresso that day. We wanted to demonstrate how much fun you can have involving children in weddings. I turned to some fabulous Etsy vendors who sent me their creations to partake in the shoots. While the shoot took place in Canada the vendors were from both Canada and the United States making this a truly international shoot.
The children were adorable in fluffy flowergirl dresses and sweet bowties and suspenders. We coerced them into carrying flags proclaiming true love and playing with ringbearer pillows made from moss.
One of the flowergirls danced with our groom stepping on his feet with a big smile on her face. He even received a shy kiss on his cheek while his bride looked on giggling.
We even told the story of their engagement which actually just happened for this couple just weeks before the shoot took place. As they explored the farm in their bridal attire they talked about what their wedding would be like next summer.
It was important to give the whole shoot a Bohemian vibe. We were on a farm after all. With darling children running around in mounds of tulle, exploring flower bouquets and trying to sneak icing off the cake everything about this shoot was ethereal.
