Beautiful Outdoor Wedding in Greece
Sometimes I’m amazed by how far geographically this blog reaches brides. I received an email from Sara, a wedding planner in Greece (SP weddings) who had some good news to share.
I have been a blog fan for around a year and a half and wanted to write a short email to thank you for this post:

Seriously, you were the first wedding blog that I saw featuring Maria’s work and I was so inspired that I took the chance and ordered online!
So a big thank you to you and your blog for inspiring me to do so! How unique and stunning is the bouquet? I love it.
What was your overall inspiration for your wedding?
Nikos and I wanted our wedding to be elegant, simple and lots and lots of fun, no pretentiousness whatsoever! I chose olive trees teamed with ivory roses, which I teamed with blue and white striped details throughout the event (cushions, bouquet ribbons) and hundreds of twinkling lights and candles! I also made a disco ball chandelier for the centre of the dance floor that I absolutely loved, it made everyone shine for the whole evening!
When planning my wedding, I was absolutely taken aback with the offers to photograph us by the photographers who had become friends during our careers. Of course all of them were also wedding guests, so I ended up asking all of them to shoot my wedding, however to also be guests, so just to chill and not worry about anything! I ended up getting an incredible variety of shots, which was amazing
Any advice for feature brides?
I would advise other brides to remember that their reception is actual a very large and expensive party and should be planned as such, ensure that you and your families enjoy yourselves and whatever you do DON’T get so stressed that you miss the entire event!
