Wedding in the Forest Invitation Suite by Joel Derksen
I admit, I’m an stationery junkie so it’s such a treat to share this next invitation set with you. Designer Joel Derksen created this super fun invite which would be a sweet & unexpected surprise for any guest that receives it. (PS: You definitely want to check out his site to see his portfolio. Pretty stellar.)
I illustrated all of the favourite and special places for bride and groom, in a long winding path. You can cut them out, and walk them down the road, or just keep them as a keepsake.
I worked with a writer, Leilah Ambrose, and we created Save-the-Dates with a connecting path to the invitation, a double-sided, tri-fold invitation (7″ wide by 15″ high), the RSVP, a cut-out sheet of house plants, bicycles, and other things the couple love, and finally “thank you” cards, to be sent after they get back from Africa.
The couple will be tying the knot at the Kortright Centre for Conservation this September.
