Simple Chic Wedding in Vancouver
Today we are jumping straight into the beautiful city of Vancouver for a chic minimalist styled wedding of Miranda and Mike. Kraft paper details just so happens to be a favorite material of mine, adding a modern touch and texture to just about any palette, so of course this wedding by Jamie Delaine Photography is just right in my books.
My husband and I wanted our wedding decor to be simple, modern, with vintage touches, while being surrounded by the city. Our color choices were dark blue, grey, and white. for our color choices we wanted to keep them simple and natural while adding in a punch of dark blue with it being our favorite color!
We really wanted to have M&M’s as our center pieces (with our first name initials both M) but we wanted it to be something a little different so the vintage dispensers were perfect. They let our guests enjoy them as they wished and even fill there kraft colored M&M’s bags to take home!
Favorite wedding day moment: My favorite moment was probably the whole reception, after our amazing meal, and the most touching toasts, we danced the night away! it was so perfect!
Advice for other brides or grooms-to-be? It sounds really cliche to say – enjoy every moment of your day cause it will go by before you know it. But it really does go by so fast so my advice is just to enjoy every minute – you’ve worked so hard with all the planning!
