Field & Stream 2015 Fishing Kickoff this Sunday, March 29
Field & Stream will host the 2015 Fishing Kickoff this Sunday, at their Erie Store in the Millcreek Marketplace, from 10am until 8pm. The event will feature angler skill clinics, activities, and deals on equipment. Local conservation groups will also be there to discuss how they make a difference in our fishing community.
Here is a list of some of the activities and clinics scheduled for Sunday.
11:00 am: “Wild Goose Chase” – A family designed scavenger hunt with trivia which will run throughout the entire day
– 12:30 pm: Introduction to Fly Fishing (Clinic)
– 1:00 pm: Design Your Own Lure (Youth Workshop)
– 1:30 pm: Lure Selection and Tactics (Clinic)
– 2:30 pm: Baitcasting (Clinic)
– 3:30 pm: Reel Maintenance (Clinic)
– 4:30 pm: Trout Tips and Techniques (Clinic)
There will also be contests to enter and prize giveaways. The first 25 people in line will receive a Berkley Bucket of Powerbait valued at $25. The first 100 people in line will receive a gift card valued from $5 – $250.
