Project 4: DIY Silhouette Chair Detail

The last project of our silhouette DIY series from Tara Whittaker includes a chair detail which we love! (see parts 1 , 2 & 3 if you missed them)

Silhouette chair markers for the bride and groom are an elegant way to personalize the head table. The groom’s silhouette was framed in an heirloom frame and the bride’s in a vintage
studio folder.

These can often be found in vintage shops or maybe you have some tucked away in your old, family photos. I love the way they turned out, hanging from the wide, satin ribbon (arranged by
my assistant, Colleen).

Refer to the tutorial on creating a silhouette from earlier in the week.

The outlines were traced onto black paper, cut out with an X-Acto knife and placed over a sheet
of shimmery gold paper.
