Weather: Weather is warm with an occasional chance of rain. High in the 60’s.
Snow cover: None
Water conditions: Better after the recent rain and snow
Feeding conditions: Very good, lots of cut corn coming down with lots of remnants in the field
Species and numbers: Canada goose numbers are building with a few local duck spattered around. Not many new birds in some time,
Migrations: Nothing to speak of except some fly-by’s as the bird move past us.
Season stage: Closed in the South zone.
Hunting report: The seasons are out down here but some are still in up north. Not a lot of activity to speak of except for the occasional good shots found by those that are putting the effort in scouting.
Gossip: Many guys have taken to small game, turkey, and archery with the lack of weather, leaving many areas not hunted for many days.
