Videographers Joné Fick and Daniel Bailey caught incredible footage of a lion intercepting a blesbok in mid-air at the Shamwari Game Reserve in South Africa.

The video shows a blesbok trying to evade death by leaping from the jaws of one lioness only to be captured in midair by another. The two apex predators converge on the blesbok, killing it and drag it back up the ridge to eat.

What’s even more incredible than the footage is a woman off-camera stating that the event was “sick.” I’m not sure what the woman was expecting to see in an African game preserve but most visitors would be excited to see such a majestic (and natural) event.
