There’s lots to do in September at the state parks in Pennsylvania’s northwestern corner. Find a site and event that works for you:

Presque Isle: Try the morning ecopaddle Sept. 14 , or find a different event from the monthly calendar .

Pymatuning: An early morning paddle is scheduled for Sept. 19.

Oil Creek: Go on an owl prowl Sept. 7, or find another event .

Cook Forest: Go night fishing on the Clarion River , or find a daytime event .

Jennings Environmental Education Center: Participants 12 and older can enroll in Orienteering 101 Sept. 14 , or find another event .

Kinzua Bridge: Try the Kinzua Bridge Fall Festival Sept. 21-22 , or find another reason for a day trip.

McConnells Mill: The Heritage Fest is Sept. 28-29.

Moraine: Try a pontoon boat tour of Lake Arthur for a fee. There are lots of other events as well.
