Just so you can get some much needed Canadian wedding inspiration, here’s another fabulous real wedding for you to enjoy on this beautiful Tuesday morning. Remember the scrabble engagement shoot I shared back in May of last year? Well, we now get to see their DIY wedding thanks to Tanya, the lovely lady behind the lens at Bells and Babies Photography . I know I don’t often get the chance to share ‘vintage’ weddings, but today’s was an easy decision to share because the couple, Jade and Dan, are ridiculously cute. Held in Abbotsford, British Columbia, this wedding is full of details that infuse their personality and style to their wedding.
What was your favorite moment on your wedding day?
Jade: Having my dad walk me down the isle and hand me off to Daniel and finally after many years of anticipation, exchanging our vows we wrote to each other.
Dan: The doors opening and Jade proceeding down the isle was an intense moment in my life that i cannot compare to any thing else. it was crazy and totally surreal.
Advice for future brides + grooms to be?
Jade: Have fun planning each detail of your day, make sure it reflects your style and personality, get down and dirty with DIY projects and wear comfy shoes!!!
Dan: Enjoy the day, don`t worry about the little details and don`t forget its all about your bride
