The bridesmaids…

Oh mondays. Dreaded mondays. If it weren’t for my full-time job, mondays would be fun just blogging, but that’s not entirely realistic! I’ve got lots of real weddings lined up for this week so stay tuned.

In the meantime, for those interested in my wedding planning process, I just wanted to share with you the bridesmaid dresses that I picked up a couple months ago. I guess you could say that being a contemporary bride, I was looking for cocktail dresses that were simple, yet unique in the color black. I am a big fan of choosing dresses that bridesmaids can wear again and found that longer gowns should normally be reserved for the bride. So while most dresses are about 250+ (Yup, experienced it!), I headed over to RW & Co , a Canadian retail store that has the cutest little dresses. I think they’re really taking their dress turned bridesmaid dresses popularity seriously because they keep coming out with fresh new designs. After countless stress over finding the right sizes and even driving to calgary to pick one up, I can say this part is off the wedding task list!

The image isn’t the best quality, but here’s a sneakpeek:

The bridesmaids…

They’re black & knee-length with a single black shoulder strap on the left. Just beneath the bust on the same side are a cluster of 3 black rosettes. The girls can then pair it with the jewelry of their choice and black pumps/sandles. Similar to the ones below:

So if you’re on a budget, I highly suggest checking out the nearest retail stores often because once they come out, you’ll have to snatch the sizes that you need!
