Raptor Experience and Talking Turkeys this weekend at the TREC

On Saturday, April 9, the Tom Ridge Environmental Center (TREC) will present “Raptor Experience”. Live birds, including raptors from the Tamarack Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center, will be on display. Educational information and children’s activities will be presented by the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and the Presque Isle Audubon Society. The program is scheduled from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. There is no cost or registration required. All ages are welcome to attend the event.

There will be another program at the TREC on Sunday. “Talking Turkeys” is scheduled from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. This program will feature the different sounds, actions, and habits of the wild turkey. No fee or registration is required for this family friendly program.
