The Bass Federation Mid-Atlantic Division Championship will be held Wednesday, September 23 through Friday, September 25 in Erie. Teams will launch from Presque Isle State Park’s West Pier. The tournament will include  all of fishable Lake Erie in Pennsylvania waters and include Presque Isle Bay. Weigh-ins will be held at Perry Monument, beginning at 3 :00pm each day.

This Division level championship will host qualifying anglers from Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, New Jersey, Delaware, and Washington D.C. Participating anglers competed at various state-level tournaments throughout the season to qualify to be a part of each state’s 12-person team at the divisional level. The top two anglers from each state at the Divisional level will qualify to compete in The Bass Federation National Championship.

The Bass Federation will also hold a Mr. Bass Last Chance event Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27. The Last Chance Tournament will give anglers a chance to qualify for the State Championship in October.

“The Bass Federation is a top national bass fishing organization, and we’re thrilled that they’ve chosen to host such a high-profile event in Erie,” said Ron Sertz, Executive Director of the Erie Sports Commission. “We’re excited for the opportunity to show these anglers that Erie is a great fishing city, and great overall destination.”
