Faced with the challenge of creating a dual-density, high loft mattress with premium features, while at the same time, designing it to compress enough so that you don’t have to pay a premium on shipping, the Ruffwear product development team embraced the challenges and created our best dog bed yet.
The magic of this bed lies in its core. The recycled polyester fill has two densities, allowing you the option of a firm or soft sleeping surface just by removing the mattress cover and flipping it over. Here are a few reasons you would want a soft or firm sleeping surface:
Soft:
- Great for staying warm in cool temperatures
- Easier on joints after adventures
Firm:
- Keeps dogs cooler in warmer temperatures
- Easier for older dogs who struggle to get in and out of bed
The mattress cover has a soft, long-wearing, easy-to-clean micro-suede surface that is comfortable and does not cling to dirt, sticks or leaves. The cover also has a waterproof, recycled base that prevents moisture from seeping from the ground to your dog as well as from your dog to the ground.
Both the mattress and cover are machine washable and the cover includes an integrated handle to make transporting the bed a breeze.
