Fall is in the air!
It is so pretty outside! Headed up to the mountain the other weekend for a hike with Angel, Charlotte, Tally and Max (although he is still rocking the inverted mohawk from his unfortunate run in with Angel and a Steristrip!) and the leaves were beautiful! I love fall! Everything smells good and looks even better…I wish I could live somewhere that had an Autumn season for at least 5 or 6 months of the year!
Life is starting to settle in…a little. I’ve made some choices about certain aspects in my life and I can only hope that they all turn out the way that I want them to! In a complete 180, my grad plans have changed once again, but I think they are for the better! I’ve made a compromise between traditional and outdooor education and have finally settled on an M.Ed and a special ed teaching cert. I really enjoyed working in Special Ed in Steamboat so I think it is a good choice. The catch is that I am allowing myself to take the Rocky Mtn Instructor course through NOLS. Realistic and level headed sure, but at least I get to appease my love of the outdoors!
Headed to Jackson Hole next weekend for a wedding….Jen is getting married! I am so happy for her but it is definitely weird. Another one bites the dust. Ha, just kidding. Between her and Abby and Angel next year, my girlfriends are dropping like flies though! I love to tease, but in all honesty, I am completely happy for them all. They found good guys and if they are happy, then I am happy. Plus, the wedding is in Jackson….definitely cool.
