Um….ooops…it has been forever!
So, I have recently had quite a few people mention to me that I needed to update my blog. . . and yeah, it has been FOREVER!!!
So life in the Boat is good. Yes, I got over my mono, and no, it wasn’t pretty. I was basically a lifeless slug on the couch. Glad that’s done with!
Ski season started in full about a month ago, and it has been awesome. I haven’t been able to clock as many days as most of my friends here since I have 9-5 job, but I am still almost to 15 so for me, that is a lot at this time of year. December recorded a ridiculous amount of snow up here, and it has been amazing–we got like 3 feet over Christmas alone. We were actually supposed to get nailed this weekend with the storm that is killing the Western coast right now, so imagine my surprise when I woke up to 40 degrees and everything thawing this morning–and rain! It was ridiculous. Talk about global warming! Its cooled off all day, though, and it is definitely snowing now. Weather reports are saying that we are going to get 2-4 feet by tomorrow night. Talk about a powder day!
Other than lots and lots of ski days, there hasn’t been too much to report. School is trucking along and I am already half way through the year. Crazy! Took all the kids climbing at the rock wall all day yesterday, and we have Outdoor Ed. day coming up in a few weeks. The kids get to decide between skiing, ice skating, ice climbing, and maybe one other thing. I think I am going to pick ice climbing cause I really want to learn. How sweet is that?!
Ok, Meg and I are watching the last Pirates movie, so I’m gonna go do that. The end is coming and I gotta see what happens! I will try to update this more often, I swear!
