IT IS SO HOT!!!
Ok, so I know that Steamboat isn’t that much higher up in elevation that Denver, but for some reason, I had it in my head that the summers here would be perfect temperature…..WRONG! It is so damn hot up here and Tally hates it! I take her on hikes now and she is always dead and panting within 20 minutes….and for anyone that knows Tals, this is highly unusual! I think I need to buy her a little fan helmet or something to wear when we hike! 🙂
Have my race this weekend so I’m pretty excited. I’ve gotten really lazy with the training in the past few weeks, but this one is more relaxed than the last one, so I’m not too concerned. I think it will be fun!
Guess what? Going to climb Mt Rainier in a few weeks! How awesome is that? I am flying out to Seattle on July 29 and a few of us have a week to attempt the mountain. Super psyched! Been trying to bone up on my skills, but lets just hope that we have good weather. Keep your fingers crossed!
