El Fin
Wow. So, the trip is over, and I am back in good old Broomfield, Colorado. It is really kinda weird, actually. Certain things are really easy to slip back into, and other just feel kinda strange. Went for my first run today, back in the dryness of Colorado, and that took some getting used to…..I used to hate humidity, but this dry is something else!
We spent the last two days at the all-inclusive resort in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, and it was wonderful–the perfect way to end the trip. The hotel was called the Paridisus Riviera Cancun, and it was beautiful. The room was great and had the absolute biggest bed I have personally ever slept in, along with the softest sheets in the world. The food at the restaurants was tasty, and we both enjoyed the lobster and steak dinner…..yummmmy!! The included bars were probably the highlight for both of us, however, and we spent a fair amount of time hanging out in the pool, sipping on our pina coladas…..who can blame us?!
So, yes, I am now back in broomfield, and Steve is back in Boston, although I am not sure how long either of us are going to stay in these places. Steve and his brother are looking to move to Seattle during the beginning of October, and I am either going to head up there or to San Francisco a month or so later…we’ll see. I’ve got the itch now, and I don’t think I will be settling down anytime soon!
