Pretty Pink Wedding in Winnipeg
Pretty in pink, it doesn’t get lovelier than this. A pink umbrella and beautiful bouquet of the same shade, today’s wedding planned by Divine Weddings & Events was definitely not dampened by the rain. Captured by Jeremy Hiebert Photography , Chelsea and Stavros wanted a vintage inspired wedding filled with sweet little DIY details, but keeping with a traditional Greek wedding ceremony. Enjoy!
Says Tammy of Divine Weddings & Events: Stavros is the owner of Santa Lucia Pizza, and that is where they met. Chelsea and Stavros got married on a spring day – a touch a rain didn’t hamper any spirits. Out came the pink umbrella! Stavros is Greek, so they decided to have a traditional Greek Orthodox ceremony. The reception was held at Bergmann’s on Lombard. Colour palette was soft pinks and creams. Chelsea wanted a romantic vintage feel to their wedding. There were a few DIY touches – Chelsea designed a photo seating chart where guests found their photo and their table number was written on the back of the photo. For the guest book, guests wrote their names on little hearts and dropped them in the top of a double pained frame which displayed all the hearts. In true Greek style, guests spent the night dancing to Greek music, and breaking plates on the dance floor.
