Before I jump into today’s real wedding, I want to welcome our new sponsor, Get Married in Banff . Angie & Reg Spencer help to create absolutely gorgeous weddings in beautiful Banff and I am so thrilled that I get to share one of their weddings with you. Held at the Banff Springs Hotel , Stella & Jackson’s wedding is total eye candy..it’s utterly modern and mixed with a hint of vintage. LOVE! Photography is by the talented JT Images . Have a look at the images and then read on to learn more about the decor from Angie herself, along with a complete list of vendors!

Reg and I worked with Stella and Jackson for almost 15 months prior to the wedding day. We had such a great time with this couple and once the wedding day came around, everything fell into place perfectly! While our team were setting up the wedding, we were delivering flowers to the couple and making sure everyone was taken care of. Just before the ceremony Jackson handed me his vows, which is completely normal but in this case Jackson had written them on the sports page of the paper! There was laughter and tears at this monumental ceremony. We wanted to capture the outdoor element of Banff and bring it inside. The centerpieces were found by the couple at Chintz & Company in Calgary. When we first started working with the couple, Stella was really in love with Black and white damask and she also wanted purple added to the wedding decor. The tall centerpieces broke all of the rules as we put them on the tables but they really worked to fill the gorgeous Mount Stephan Hall in the Banff Springs Hotel. This wedding was about style and the couple wanted to make Mount Stephan look modern and trendy. We succeeded in that challenge by adding purple uplighting from all corners of the room, the centerpieces were lit from inside and the entrance to the hall was draped in a rich, luxurious velvet fabric. The flowers were mostly hydrangea, roses and orchids, again heavy on the purple and white colors. Swarovski crystals were added to Stella’s bouquet to give it just the right amount of sparkle. We were so honored to be a part of this special wedding in Banff, and wish Stella and Jackson a lifetime of happy memories, their wedding day was just as gorgeous as the people that they are.
