Welcome to Krista – New Regular Blogger
Happy Tuesday!
So much is happening over here. To go along with the new site design, I’ve got more exciting news as Wedding Obsession is expanding with the addition of a new regular guest blogger. Krista is a super talented lady who has a knack for pretty things (which we all love) and runs her own personal blog KJ and CO . She resides in Burlington, Ontario so it’s really nice to get someone from across the country on the team.
Krista’s quite the etsy expert, so she’ll initially round up some “etsy treasures” with a main focus on Canadian Etsy vendors for some of our real weddings, colour palettes and inspiration boards. Expect to see her content once a week or two. Come back in a little bit to see what items she picked out on Etsy to help you get the look from yesterday’s yellow + pink/fushia inspiration shoot.
How long have you been blogging?
I’ve been blogging about 3 years now, most recently I relaunched with a new design at KJ and CO ( kjandco83.blogspot.com ).
What are your favorite wedding colors?
It’s kind of a joke between our friends, everyone knows that when it’s my turn I’d like a yellow and gray theme, with pops of coral-red and Tiffany blue.
What kind of bride would you be?
I will be an eclectic combination for sure. Growing up with an event-planner for a mother, I’ve had lots of time to dream about it. It will be a colourful event with lots of modern DIYs and vintage props.
What are some of your hobbies
Blogging is probably my biggest hobby which relates to things around the home. I love to go antiquing, hunt for Craigslist ( Craigslist.com ) finds and work on small changes around our house.
Name one piece of clothing you can’t live without
I absolutely love to be comfy. When I’m at home I live in my sweatpants.
And lastly, what is your most prized possession?
It’s hard to narrow it down to one item. I’m pretty sentimental, so I think the items that are most important to me are gifts from loved ones. The first necklace my boyfriend bought me, or diamond jewellery my parents gave me on some milestone birthdays. I’ve realized recently that a lot of the antiques I have around the house were also gifts and hand-me-downs from my mom or grandparents.
Welcome Krista!
