Timeless Wedding at National Museum of Women in the Arts
Monica always wanted a timeless wedding that illustrated a classic aesthetic and romantic details. The couple, who met in art school, shared a love for art, music, and beauty. They wanted all of these elements to be reflected on their special day starting by their venue selection: the National Museum of Women in the Arts. The bride shared with us: “The museum itself is absolutely beautiful. There is a classic and timeless elegance in the grand marbled staircases and crystal chandeliers.” Blush, white, and metallic silver and gold tones embellished the day and were present in everything from the bride’s bouquet to the bridesmaids dresses.
Personalized and delicate details were present throughout the special day. Almost all of the paper materials were designed by the bride herself on a letterpress machine from 1899 and her “something old” was her grandmother’s lace fabric which was used to decorate the cake table.
