Lovely East Coast Wedding by Hibou Photo
Good morning! Another beautiful real wedding to share with you today, this time on the East Coast of Canada in beautiful Fredericton, New Brunswick. Captured by Hibou Photo and planned by Live, Love, Laugh Event Planning , Shanda and Aiden’s wedding was a pretty combination of blue & purple filled with one of my favorite flowers, hydrangeas. What was your inspiration behind your overall wedding decor and colour choices?
We wanted our wedding to be romantic, personal, casual yet elegant. I decided on purple and blue (or grape and blueberry, as I often described them). I looked at wedding blogs and magazines to inspire my invitations, centerpieces, escort cards – all DIY projects. Our decorator/coordinator from Events by Live, Love, Laugh was instrumental in the decor and bringing it all together.
What was your favorite moment from your wedding day?
I have so many amazing memories of our wedding… my dad seeing me in my dress for the first time, looking into Aiden’s eyes during our vows like we were the only 2 people in the room, my 90-year old grandmother on the dance floor, the touching speeches, the special moments with family & friends, dancing the night away to Lady Gaga.
Do you have any advice for other brides-to-be?
My best advice to brides – ask for help when you need it! Relax & enjoy every moment!
