Beautiful Chinese Pre-Wedding Session in Montreal

As promised, here’s a look at Jacky and Vanessa’s ‘pre-wedding’ photos captured by Lydiane Gaborieau Photography . If you missed their casual engagement this morning, be sure to check it out.

We actually had 2 photo sessions with Lydiane – one with casual outfit and one with the bridal dress. Both Vanessa and myself are from Hong Kong and we follow the modern Chinese culture of having a pre-wedding photo session before the actual wedding. Pre-wedding photo are very similar to the engagement session typically seen in the western culture but with wedding dress. The upside of that is the opportunity to showcase the beautiful bridal look as photo albums and framed pictures during the wedding banquet but the downside of that is the groom would be able to see the bride with wedding dress before the wedding.
