Personal Update: Thank You Cards
It’s FRIDAY! I am super excited for this weekend. I’m heading to Vancouver with my friend Ashley for a letterpress class. SO excited.
But enough of that, I have a mini confession to make. If you asked me what the hardest part of my wedding to conceptualize, it would be the thank you cards. I mean, really, how hard is it to say thank you to the family and friends who took the time to share our special day? Apparently very hard for me that is, considering I often think too much. So I was trying to come up with a unique way to say thank you and ended up turning to moo.com . They make THE cutest mini cards, so I figured I’d find a way to use them, along with their photo one-sided cards. Here’s what I came up with!
Oh how I love creative packaging…
We had 4 different moo cards created. After hole punching them, we put each set of four together with a silver braid. I ended up getting square silver ones to match the theme of the wedding even though it doesn’t show in the pictures. On the other side of the cards is our monograms. We know it isn’t much but we figured this little keepsake might be a nice little touch for people to remember the day.
Along with the little booklets, we had cards made with one of our wedding photos on the front. The other side was blank for us to write our messages. At the bottom left corner of the blank side was a lyrical line from our processional and one that was present on our programs.
And now it’s a matter of hand-writing each one. AH! But so well worth it.
