Grandeur Wedding at the W Hotel Washington

It is not hard to believe that this beauty pageant contestant planned her own grandeur and glamorous wedding at the W Hotel Washington last fall. Both the ceremony and the reception were self-designed by the bride with help from a family friend who is a floral designer. The day was adorned in blush and gold elegance with white and pink roses and hydrangeas. Photographer Carl Elixir shared some of the couple’s favorite moments: “We took the couples out on the street of DC for a few last shots, and the street lights of DC just became the most beautiful backdrop for us. Pedestrians saying congratulations to the couple, cars passing and honking; this all made the couple so happy at the end of the long day.”
