Chic Saskatoon Wedding
Anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE weddings that are black, white and …(Fill in the blank with just about any color). In this case, Miren & Geoff chose red as their accent color to create a classic look for their wedding and sparkles & feathers throughout. Miren planned all the wedding details herself and also made time to create the centerpieces, invitations, programs, table cards, seating chart and even her own jewelry. Talk about DIY bride! Miren’s inspiration for the wedding came from her own personal style..GLAM. She loves “sparkles, feathers and anything that shines”. She also loves bold prints, which was shown in the bridesmaid dresses (see below). The Dessy dresses were paired with red heels and crystal Swarovski jewelry made by the bride.
Says Miren:
I love roses and especially red ones! I wanted flowers everywhere and in order to have this I had to be creative. So I purchased 28 dozen roses from Costco and Geoff’s mom made the bouquets and boutonnières and my bridesmaids and I made the center pieces and other floral arrangements. The night before our wedding, my bridesmaids and I “be-feathered” our bouquets with feather boas to add a little glam to our bouquets.
