Retro Hawaiian Luau Bash
Anytime I receive something involving Lynzie Kent ( Love by Lynzie Weddings + Events ), I know it’s going to be out of the box awesome and just full of inspiration. She recently paired up with Scarlet O’Neill , Beet and Path and The Linen Closet to create a retro Hawaiian luau filled with tropical details and gold pineapples (yes!). This should definitely give those of you planning weddings some ideas that will infuse a bit of fun into your special day.
Says Lynzie: The event was the annual summer ball at the Royal Canadian Yacht club. My team was asked to style the event with glamorous details and florals that were reminiscent of a retro hawaiian luau. We incorporated tropical blooms, vintage boogie boards, kitchy Hawaiian sayings, tropical bowling made from pineapples and coconuts, and we had all the servers dress in retro hawaiian shirts. We love the overall effect that was created.
