Spring Charm in Winnipeg

We started off the week on a fabulous note and we’re ending it just as well, with a beautiful spring photoshoot sent over by Academy Florist . It’s filled with pretty pink inspiration, gorgeous florals and vintage details. Collaborating with some fabulous Winnipeg vendors, this shoot captured by Moore Photography was created to suit the bride’s budget and a chance to incorporate charming DIY details.

Lauren of Academy Florist shares how you can re-create the look:

• Add in textured details that aren’t overwhelming: fluttering linens, wicker lanterns, mercury glass vases and votives, and handmade paper rosettes place cards.

• When it comes to the flowers, go for clusterings of small blooms offset with a few large ones, like peonies or garden roses.

• Select a soft colour palette: pinks, taupe, champagne and ivory was our starting point.
