Warren County and the Seventh Annual Spring Fishing Show on April 5th have a lot to offer trout anglers
From the trophy trout fishery below the Kinzua Dam, to the 26 approved trout waters ,and the special regulation trout waters, Warren County has a lot to offer trout anglers. Some of these waters also contain wild and native trout. Picturesque scenes can be found along the banks and shorelines of many of these waters. Looking up at the hills as they begin to rise and form the Allegheny Plateau, while waiting for that first bite of the regular trout season, you can see it is the perfect backdrop for a good day outdoors.
While you wait to wet your line, an upcoming event in Warren County, The Seventh Annual Spring Fishing Show, sponsored by the Cornplanter Chapter of Trout Unlimited, will be offering fly tying demonstrations, displays, great food, and several raffles including a $200 Cabela’s gift card. The raffle benefits Morrison Run watershed improvements, a Trout in the Classroom Program, as well as other local chapter projects. This event is scheduled for April 5th between 9:30 am and 3:30 pm, at the Brokenstraw Fish and Game Club near Youngsville, Pa.
Admission is free.
