Erie Sport & Travel Expo Feb. 27 – March 1 at the Bayfront Convention Center
The Erie Sport & Travel Expo begins this Friday at the Bayfront Convention Center. This indoor extravaganza will feature many exhibits, activities, and fun events for NWPA outdoor enthusiasts. There will be exciting things for the kids to do at the expo as well. Some of the activities available for the kids include the Trout Pond, Dock Dogs, and Bwana Jim Wildlife Shows. Adults can check out some of the seminars hosted by hunting and fishing experts and celebrities. Pat and Nicole from the Outdoor Channel’s hit show “Driven” will be there to meet event goers on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Amazing Archer Byron Ferguson will be on hand displaying some of his amazing archery tricks and skills. Other seminars will feature topics such as Ice Fishing Tips, Spring and Fall Lake Trout, and Lake Erie Reports by Mark Haffley of the PFBC. Hunting seminars will feature Turkey Hunting Basics, Long Range Shooting Tips, and Rattle in the Big One & More.
The Erie Sport & Travel Expo will begin Friday from 12pm until 8pm. Doors will open Saturday from 10am until 8pm. The final day of the expo will be Sunday, with doors open from 10am until 5pm. The cost is $8 for adults. Children under 10 get in free. Parking will also be free of charge.
