Conewango Creek Canoe Sojourn is July 11

Celebrate the 2015 Pennsylvania River of the Year with the Conewango Creek Watershed Association’s 2015 Canoe Sojourn. On July 11, canoeists will embark on a group paddling sojourn at Conewango Creek to show appreciation of this fine waterway located in NWPA. The sojourn will begin in Frewsburg, NY and continue 11.5 miles downstream to Larimer Park near Russel, PA.

There are four stops scheduled along the way. Each stop will feature guest speakers who will introduce a range of topics. The presentations will encompass everything  from developing the water trail,  to the threats of invasive species, and even the history of Conewango Creek.

The cost of the 2015 Conewango Creek Canoe Sojourn is $40. This includes the cost of canoe rental, commemorative t-shirt, and two meals. A lunch and dinner will be provided to paddlers along the way and at the end of the trip.
