NWPA Anglers are catching Lake Erie Yellow Perch through the Ice in Presque Isle Bay

Tom Lohse, of Union City, caught over 20 yellow perch while fishing with a friend on Presque Isle Bay this past Saturday. The fish in the photo measured 11 1/2 inches and was caught using a wax worm for bait.

NWPA Anglers are catching Lake Erie Yellow Perch through the Ice in Presque Isle Bay

Roderick Cowher and Brandon Sanner, of Edinboro, also have been catching some yellow perch through the ice in the bay. The photos above are from ice fishing trips to Presque Isle Bay this past week. Jigs, minnows, and grubs have worked for them.
