When I read magazines, I absolutely love the high/low options. It really goes to show that you can have the same look for a lot less. Let’s face it, we aren’t all made of money!

I absolutely LOVE this Rachel Gilbert dress. It can be worn as a strapless gown or you can add the one-shoulder strap for a modern twist. It’s sequined, so the bling itself makes it look pricey. And while you’d think that the dress cost itself isn’t atrocious, there are more affordable options. Jimmy Choo and Tiffany’s? Yikes! The earrings cost more than the other items combined.

One of my favourite items from this ‘budget’ combination are the satin pumps by Nine West. I absolutely LOVE this store when it comes to affordable, yet stylish shoes. This particular shoe comes in a bunch of gorgeous colours, including a chartreuse that all you green brides will squeal over! And the earrings..you can’t go wrong with Swarovski, with some affordable options that will totally glam up your wedding outfit. Swarovski can be purchased both online, flagship stores & The Bay.
