This Weekend’s Programs at Presque Isle State Park
Sunset Stroll
Enjoy a stroll at Presque Isle State Park on Friday June 5 from 8:00pm until 9:30pm. Learn about the plants and animals of the park while admiring a great sunset. Meet at the Sunset Point parking lot to begin this program. The Sunset Stroll at Presque Isle State Park is free and open to the public.
Presque Isle Bay Fishing
Kids ages 8-15 and an accompanying adult can fish Presque Isle Bay from the DCNR pontoon boat, this Saturday, from 9:00am until 12:00pm. All equipment will be provided. Registration is required. Please call 814-833-7424 to register. This program is also free and open to the public.
Discovering Bluebirds
Recieve a bluebird box and learn how to attract these birds to your own backyard during the Discovering Bluebirds program, this Saturday, from 10:00am until 12:00pm. Participants must register and a $15 fee is required. The program will be held at classroom 112 within the Tom Ridge Environmental Center. Call 814-833-7424 to register.
