THE PERFECT WEEKEND TRAVEL BAG QUEST

Always looking for the best weekend travel bag. Or the best any travel bag when it comes to it…

With the feet I have, it’s bags rather than shoes that always catch my eye. And given that I spend so much of my life hauling my goods, myself and my office from A to B and working while I do so, insert excuse it’s no wonder I pay so much attention to them.

Enter my favourite weekend travel bag to date: the DinoM from Maxwell Scott.

Always on the lookout for the perfect weekend travel bag – and every other kind of travel bag when it comes to it!

While I’d never go for a bag based solely on looks (these shoulders get sore pretty quick) it was probably the look and the feel of the DinoM that won me over. The luxury leather handmade in Italy just feeeels like such a travel treat.

TRAVEL COMPARTMENTS

For a weekend bag, it’s got a good central section for clothes and bulky cables. It’s got twin pockets at the end for quick reach items (or a swimsuit if you’re heading to the beach.) Best of all, it has a spacious quick access flap on the side for storing travel documents that you need to reach quickly or wallets, phones, mints and the rest.

PERFECT FOR ROAD TRIPS

It fits nicely into overhead cabins but is definitely too big to slide under the seat. It has a poppered main handle and a shoulder strap for when you need something else in your hands. The only downside as I get older is…no wheels so the weight does take its toll on my shoulders. But it’s perfect for road trips or when you have (ahem) someone around who’s happy to carry it for you (and it helps that it doesn’t look like a floral handbag.)

SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL
