Deer of the Day, Oct 23: Louie Tracy’s giant 7-point
Louie Tracy, of Waterford, shot a huge 7-point near Girard on the first day of archery season.
The buck’s high-mass rack, which included two broken tines, had an 18-inch inside spread.
Tracy’s deer photo was entered in the NWPA Outdoors Deer of the Month and Year Contest – and yours can be too, if you meet the contest guidelines. Today, however, is the last day you can get in on the October submission period; public voting for the October Deer of the Month will start Oct. 25, and a new submission period will open Nov. 1.
